Floor plans in virtual tours

A 360° scene shows a room. A floor plan shows how rooms connect. AtlaRoom combines them: as buyers look around, a field-of-view indicator on the plan shows where they are facing.

Orientation is easier when the plan travels with the tour.

Why orientation matters

Without a plan, people lose their place after a few room jumps. A live floor plan reduces that confusion and makes larger homes feel understandable online.

Field of view on the plan

AtlaRoom can show your position on the plan with a cone for the current view direction — so “looking toward the garden” is visible on the diagram, not only in the panorama.

Multi-floor homes

When a property has more than one level, you can use multi-floor plans so visitors switch diagrams as they move between storeys.

Pair with info points

Use the plan for orientation and info points for details (materials, inclusions, video). Together they replace a lot of back-and-forth before the first showing.

Frequently asked questions.

A tour works without one, but orientation is clearer with a plan. If you have a clean 2D plan image, add it in the studio when you build the project.
